I can't see a design that matches my colour scheme. Can you make your designs in other colours?
Yes, every invitation or keepsake item is specifically made for the individual client. As a result they can be tailored to suit your particular needs or colour scheme. There are a range of colours and textures that can be used to help create your perfect design.
I have my own ideas. Do you offer a bespoke service?
Yes, I find working with new ideas and individual designs very rewarding. I am more than happy to discuss your own ideas and will endeavour to bring them to life for you. I have access to a range of textures and colours, ribbon and embellishments.
Do you have a catalogue?
Due to the individual nature of the invitations, we are unable to offer a complete catalogue. There are a number of design ideas on this website, and these can all be tailored to your own particular requirements.
Do you offer samples of the invitations?
Yes, I am happy to send out samples for a small charge to cover the costs of making a single invitation. If you then go ahead and place an order, the cost of up to 2 samples (excluding postal costs) will be refunded against your final order total. Alternatively I am happy to make a personal visit to you at no cost if you live within Cardiff or the immediate area, so that you can view some samples and we can discuss your individual requirements.
The sample is nearly perfect, but can I change any aspects of it before I order my own?
Yes, I am happy to make any changes to any design right up until the point where an order is started. I want you to be completely happy with any design. If you are not happy with any aspect of a sample then it can be changed for you.

How do I know how much each design costs?
As each design is unique and individually made, the cost to produce them will vary with the specific requirements. The cost of each will depend on the complexity of the design, the cost of materials and the time that each item will take to produce.
All prices would need to be confirmed individually because of the bespoke service offered, however if you would like an approximation, then please email me with designs that you like the look of from the site and I will give you an idea of how much those examples cost, without any obligation.
I can tailor-make designs to suit most budgets, so please don't be put off because prices aren't fully listed on this site.
The individual item cost can be discounted for larger orders.

How environmentally friendly is your paper?
The card and paper that I use is very environmentally friendly. Most of the materials that I use are made from the bark of the mulberry tree. The best bark is obtained from the smallest branches, which is a natural pruning process. Trees are not cut down to make this paper. Where the card and paper are not from a mulberry tree, I endeavour to try and use materials that are either recycled or from sustainable sources. Every product that I use, from base card to packaging, is obtained with the environment in mind.

Are your tissue papers acid-free?
Yes, all of the tissue paper, and much of the paper and card stock, are at pH 7, referred to as pH neutral or acid free.
Is there a minimum order?
There are no minimum orders for keepsake items, post boxes and table plans. Stationery ranges and favours will normally require a minimum order of 25. Smaller numbers than this may be able to be catered for, however each individual item would cost a bit more than the listed price. Please contact me for further details. Contrary to this, certain items of stationery, such as invitations, qualify for a discount for orders of more than 50.
How much deposit would be required?
For order values greater than £150 I would normally ask for a deposit of 50% before I commence with your order. When the order is ready to be dispatched, I would then ask for the remaining balance. Once this has been received your items will be sent out. For order values of less than £150 I would ask for full payment before I commence with your order.
How far in advance of an event date do I need to think about sending invitations?
This would depend entirely on the event.
In the case of weddings, Save the Date cards are usually sent out 9-12 months prior to the wedding, particularly with summer weddings. It is traditional for wedding invitations to be sent out to guests at least 8-12 weeks prior to a wedding, with an RSVP date of about 4-6 weeks before the wedding date.
For non-wedding events there is no traditional timescale in which to send out invitations. As a general rule, the earlier you send an invitation, the more positive responses you are likely to get.

How long does it take you to fulfill an order?
The earlier you place an order, the easier it will be to fulfill. In some instances a fast turnaround time may be possible for a simple small order, but the larger, or more complex the order the more time it will take to fulfill it. This is particularly relevant if a full matching order is being placed. I may need to schedule time to ensure that all aspects of your order have the full time available to cater for the last minute aspects of a wedding, such as a table plan or place cards.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes. I realise that weddings are an expensive time. There are so many different things that you have to pay for, all at the same moment. I therefore want to help make things a little easier if I can for you by helping you spread the cost. There is no minimum order that you need to place to take advantage of the payment plan option. Just choose what you would really like to have, and we will work out a payment plan that can spread the cost over no more than 12 months. I will commence work when the full balance has been paid, so you would need to allow enough time for your payment to complete and your order to be crafted.
Please note that this is not a credit agreement and no interest will be charged, it is simply a way to spread the cost. 50% of the total order is non-refundable. Please contact me for further information.

What payment methods do you accept?
The fastest payment method is by bank transfer. Most British banks will now process these transfers within 2 hours. Cheques and postal orders are also accepted, although please note that these funds need to clear before any orders are started. Alternatively if you need to spread the cost I can also offer a payment plan (please see above).
It is also possible to pay via credit/debit card, however please be aware that in order to keep prices as low as possible for everyone, I do not mark-up the prices in advance to cover card fees. As a result I am afraid that I may have to pass on a small part of the associated fees for this payment option (2%). If you wish to pay by card, then an invoice will be emailed through to you with a link to Paypal, who will process your payment. Please note that for your own security I do not see your card details.

What delivery method do you use?
Deliveries will normally be dispatched using either a Royal Mail or a courier service. Deliveries (excluding samples) will usually require a signature upon delivery.
Do you deliver overseas?
It may be possible for me to deliver overseas, however please contact me to establish if this is possible in your particular instance.
